We measure the effectiveness of the media we place by tracking website visits, phone calls and texts to the 24/7 helpline, Option Line. We also closely monitor the abortion ratio (number of abortions per 1,000 births) in current and potential media markets.

 

CREATING EFFECTIVE MESSAGES

Heroic Media’s advertisements are professionally researched, produced & placed.

The goal of our research efforts is to achieve the greatest impact in encouraging phone calls, text messages and website visits from women seeking help (“Call for Help” ads) or in changing hearts and minds (“Attitude Change” ads).

Messages and themes are developed using personal stories and firsthand accounts from women facing unplanned pregnancies. Ads are then tested for effectiveness with the target audience (Women ages 18-34), using focus groups, surveys, pre and post-polling. A professional media buyer is used to purchase air time on networks and programs most frequently viewed by our target audience.

Our ads work because they present the abortion issue from a woman's perspective and provide positive, hopeful solutions.

The reduction of abortion ratios resulting in actual lives saved is the ultimate test of an ad campaign.

In Austin, Texas, where our ads have run consistently since 2004, the abortion ratio has dropped over 20 percent!

At Heroic Media, we use mass media to impact culture on the Life issue. We aim to change hearts and minds about abortion, using research-based television commercials, internet ads, billboards and other forms of pro-life media. The voice of abortion is everywhere, telling women facing unexpected pregnancies that abortion is their only choice. Heroic Media is a faith-based organization that brings a voice of hope. We celebrate the heroism of motherhood.
